Vitamin Blue glider surfboard bag. Gliders are big surfboards commonly made in the 11 to 12 foot range. These boards are built for enjoying smooth, fast lines and drawn out turns. The size of these surfboards makes them prone to getting dinged up. Therefore a custom longboard bag is a worthwhile investment.
We are especially proud to make all our surfboard bags, boardshorts and surfing accessories at our factory in Costa Mesa, California, USA. As a surfboard bag company our goal is to make high quality, good fitting surfboard bags that last for years.
Glider Surfboard Bag Features
This 11’0″ longboard bag includes light gray denier exterior, 1/4″ foam and smooth white nylon lining. Our surfboard bag exterior material colors include light gray, charcoal gray, olive and camo. Light gray is the most effective color for a day bag since this color absorbs the least heat when exposed to the sun. We made this board bag with a 3/4 length zipper. This makes it easy to slide your board in and pull your board out of your surfboard bag. Also this zipper length will be useful if your wax should happen to melt inside your board bag.
Additionally we made this longboard bag with Mylar reflective material on the fin side. Mylar reflective is particularly effective in strong sun conditions. When we include Mylar on a board bag we reinforce the seam with 1 1/2″ webbing for added durability.
We use the large size #10 zipper with zipper pulls on our custom surfboard bags.
Also included with our board bags are a shoulder strap, hard rubber handle and exterior storage pouch.
And we make stock longboard bag sizes.
