Stanley moved to California from Alabama and became California’s first African American surf team rider.

Additionally, Glen, a good friend of Vitamin Blue’s, owns and operates Kennedy Surf Shop in Woodland Hills, California. This is a classic surf shop in Southern California. Well know and loved throughout the Valley. Also the shop has built lifelong multi generational customers. If you stop by on a Friday afternoon you can have a beer with Glen while ordering your custom surfboard. Since 1972 Glen has hand-shaped a wide range of surfboards. Including classic longboards, mid range surfboards and high-performance shortboards. Glen’s a great guy!
